Epic Poem: Part Five

How many days, again,
did you say you could tackle this?

Shut up.

How long before it came
did you talk like you were strong enough?

Shut up.

And how long will you now
leave your wounds open to the salt sprays,
whispers screeching at the moon you curse,
echoes weighing down your ankles?
How long will you fool yourself,
Stupid girl

Shut.

Up.

Say please.

    1. Thank you! I use the term “epic” loosely; it will be nowhere near booklength, but it’s much longer than what I usually write, and I attempted to create a solid storyline. I’m glad you like it.

      1. You’re welcome. I’m really enjoying it so far. I don’t mind if you’re breaking the boundaries of epic; we always need new definitions for things. I know I’ll be back to read the rest.

  1. I have just now caught up a little and am really enjoying this. I hope you continue I like reading it grouped fashion. I know it’s been a while since I’ve been through and this just make sit perfect to catch up. I love it! 🙂

      1. Yes, WordPress really needs a “love” button, especially for your works, Heather. 🙂
